Research that transforms heritage into shared awareness.
Mission
The mission is not a goal: it is a desk that breathes, a globe that illuminates, a lens that safeguards. It is the gesture that questions heritage, the voice that accompanies its guardians, the companionship that transforms research into shared memory.
Network Museum is the website of the spin-off dedicated to the study of museum sciences, promoted by the scientific research company INFOGESTIONE. This independent, non-journalistic scientific publication was created to investigate conservation, exhibition, and educational activities related to cultural heritage, the management of institutions responsible for its protection, and their relationship with society, the economy, and the market.
The mission of Network Museum is to:
– Deepen the dynamics of cultural propagation, museum communication, and content productio
– Provide space and voice to the protagonists of the sector, often overlooked by the general public
– Promote the dissemination of received content, experimentation, and the development of frameworks and activities that support professionalism and knowledge
– Build an open and free scientific community where strategies for the conservation, enjoyment, and transmission of cultural heritage can be shared
Network Museum is intended for:
– Museum professionals, researchers, technicians, and providers of technologies and management systems
– Organizations, institutions, schools, and universities
– Scholars and enthusiasts to explore, experiment, and share understanding of cognitive phenomena, the impact of cultural heritage on individuals and communities, and the role of museology in the evolution of society.
Within the spin-off paradigm, Network Museum generates further project branches:
– Network Museum TV: the multimedia broadcaster of Network Museum
– Network Museum People: the site dedicated to those who visit and engage with museums
– Network Museum People Café: the space for meeting, dialogue, and reflection on museums and culture
– Network Museum Lab: A site for hosting technological, educational, and managerial innovations; a virtual and real meeting place for those who work in, with, and for museums and culture
– Network Museum Explorer: the site and organization for reaching museums, inventing, publishing, and exploring museum and cultural itineraries
…and other spin-offs currently in development.
